ANTHEM is an audio installation that was especially conceived for the exhibition at the Swiss Church. When stepping into the main auditorium of the church, visitors are dazzled by a set of spotlights whose primary focus is the audience itself.
A calm, monotonously rhythmised voice addresses the viewers and makes the experience they are about to have its primary subject. ANTHEM explores the moment of personal inner instability that allows for doubt and mistrust to become a valid alternative to any authority serving as a producer of meaning.
